Most men reach a point where something shifts.
You begin to see through the old version of yourself.
You notice where you've been living for approval – avoiding conflict, holding back your opinions, playing smaller than you know you should.
Old environments and conversations no longer fit.
And a deeper question appears:
What would life look like if I led my life on my own terms?
But the next chapter hasn't fully formed yet.
This stage can feel confusing – and often lonely.
I call it the messy middle of growth.
Self–led growth isn't about becoming a different person. It's about becoming more authentically yourself.
It means building calm confidence – not from external validation, but from knowing who you are and what you stand for.
It means cultivating strong relationships where you can be fully honest and fully seen.
It means doing work that matters to you, not work that impresses others. Building a life of purpose and personal responsibility.
It means surrounding yourself with other men committed to the same journey.
Most men don't lack ambition.
They lack a room where they can be honest.
This is not a place for masks, status games, or trying to prove something.
It's a room where men speak honestly about the things that actually matter – and support each other in becoming better.
"It's one of the few spaces where I can actually speak honestly without feeling judged."
"Every week I leave the call with more clarity than when I arrived."
"Being around other men working on themselves raises my standards."
"It reminds me I'm not the only one navigating this stage of life."
These reflections are from members of the circle.
This space is for men who:
Harison Saunders is a men's coach and host of The Growth Voyage Podcast, where he has conversations with men navigating identity, responsibility, and personal growth.
His own journey moved from living for approval – seeking validation through achievement, relationships, and external success – to learning what it means to be self–led.
Through the podcast and his work with men, he saw how many were navigating the same stage of growth: outgrowing old identities, but not yet fully stepping into the next chapter.
The Growth Voyage Brotherhood was created to provide the space he wished existed earlier in his own journey – a room where men can be honest about where they are, and support each other in becoming the men they are capable of becoming.

The Growth Voyage Podcast explores the journey from approval–seeking to self–led living.
Each week Harison speaks with men at different stages of that path – some still navigating the messy middle of growth, others who have already transformed their lives.
Through honest conversations about identity, discipline, relationships, purpose, and responsibility, the podcast explores what it really takes to become the man you know you're capable of becoming.
Some men prefer more direct guidance and accountability.
Alongside the brotherhood, Harison works privately with a small number of men through 1:1 coaching focused on identity, standards, relationships, and building a self–led life.
